Something different…

Photos from vacation are on a different site.

Please visit here for those photos.

It was a fabulous trip. We did a day hike near Ouray, Colorado, then traveled to Aspen and did a four-day backpack around the Maroon Bells. The loop we traveled was the Four Pass Loop, where we went over four 12,500+ foot passes (two in one day!). Then we hiked Mt. Elbert, the tallest peak in Colorado and second-tallest mountain in the continental US (14,433 ft). All of that was with our big hiking group. After that, we just continued on our own and visited Boulder, Denver, Colorado Springs (where we drove up Pikes Peak, yet another 14,000-foot mountain), Albuquerque, and Socorro (New Mexico). It was a fabulous vacation. I hope you enjoy the photos.
